Donation

Lighthouse Baptist Church is the sending church of the Piet family, and currently handles all of S.H.I.P.'s finances on the U.S. side. All donations sent through Lighthouse Baptist Church should be made out to Lighthouse Baptist Church, with "S.H.I.P." in the memo. 100% of your donation will go directly to S.H.I.P., and all donations are tax deductible.

Another way to help support S.H.I.P. is through the mission agency of the Burns Family. All donations through CTEN are also tax deductible. Commission to Every Nation is a reputable 501(c)3 organization. They are a member of the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability - ECFA and they have achieved a stellar 4 Star rating from Charity Navigator.

You can donate securely by credit card or electronic funds transfer (EFT) using their online donation page. You can also donate by sending in a check. Because CTEN has many missionaries under their covering, make sure you are donating through the Burns' family page on CTEN. The link should take you there. To be safe, please email info@shipfoundation.org to notify both the Piet & Burns families of your online donation. If you send in a check, be sure and attach a separate note stating that the donation is for SHIP.

In order for CTEN to maintain 501(c)3 status and keep itself accountable to the IRS and independent organizations such as ECFA and Charity Navigator, there are fees involved. Any donation made through CTEN will incur a 4% administrative fee. For example, a $30 donation will end up being a $28.80 donation. If this is an issue for you, please consider donating through Lighthouse Baptist Church.

For your convenience, we have added a paypal account for those of you who would like to donate using this service. Please note, paypal donations are NOT tax deductible, as you will not receive an official giving receipt. Paypal will reduce the amount donated by $ .30 per transaction along with a 2.9% fee.
